GA Printing is a family-owned and first responder-operated business. It operates as a subsidiary of The JGA Creative Group, a collection of companies under one umbrella offering a range of traditional and digital marketing services. The success of JGA Printing is rooted in the traditional marketing strategies that some of our clients continue to rely on. The company is the realization of an idea envisioned by two best friends in college, and five years later, it became a reality.
Juanita and Alex, both native Colombians, were raised in the United States after their families immigrated in search of better opportunities and a healthier lifestyle.
Alex and Juanita first met in 2007 while attending college, a meeting that brought together two individuals from very different worlds.
“Alex is the perfect mix of a jock with a nerdy and urban side. A child of the ‘80s, ‘90s, and millennial eras, his passion for music and nostalgia runs deep. Hip hop, rock, pop-rock, electronic music, and even country tunes are all part of his playlist. Alex has an obsession with everything nerdy, from Star Wars to the Ninja Turtles. But at his core, he’s an artist—his graffiti tag “LEX” can be found on countless walls, and he’s a true daredevil.
A skilled soccer player with a love for the game, he also lives for mountain biking, water sports, and boxing. Alex is a warm-hearted, rough-around-the-edges kind of guy who knows how to bring fun and adventure into any situation.”

She’s a true romantic who appreciates all kinds of music and movies. Fearless in every way, she’s the kind of woman who wears a dress with Converse and rides her bike to a tea party. Juanita isn’t afraid to speak her mind and never takes ‘no’ for an answer. She’s bossy, but in the sweetest, most classy way. She’s everything—and then some.”

Alex and Juanita both pursued Business Administration degrees, with Juanita minoring in Marketing and Alex specializing in Fashion Marketing and Advertising. As their friendship blossomed, so did their love for one another—a love that not only led them into a business partnership but also into a life shared together as partners and children of God. Despite facing health, financial, and physical challenges, Juanita and Alex persevered, opening their business and steadily growing it into the successful operation it is today.
Some may wonder why the company is First Responder-Owned. During the early stages of building his business, Alex had a life-changing experience that profoundly impacted his perspective. He witnessed the tragic deaths of two family friends and was honored to be part of their rescue. This harrowing moment deeply affected him, helping him gain a newfound respect and understanding for his mother, a 25-year veteran nurse, his sister, a 15-year child psychologist for the Broward School Board, and other family members in the medical and law enforcement fields. Alex had always felt a calling to serve others, but he didn’t fully understand the “how” and “why” until this experience. It was through this moment that God revealed to him his true calling—to become a Firefighter Paramedic. Now, after years of dedication and training, Alex has successfully achieved that dream, embracing his purpose as a First Responder.
The Meaning of JGA:
JGA was founded by Juanita Gomez Atehortua, originally under the name JGA PR and Marketing. With her expertise in public relations, Juanita built a strong foundation for the company. However, once she embarked on the business partnership with Alex, she expanded her vision, transforming the business into a more creative and confident venture.
As mentioned earlier, Juanita and Alex’s journey has been filled with numerous challenges. Overcoming these obstacles led them to realize the importance of giving grace to God by making Him their long-time partner in business. Together, they decided that the acronym “JGA” should represent not only their love for each other but also the love that God has bestowed upon them throughout this journey. As a result, they chose to change the meaning of “JGA” from “Juanita Gomez Atehortua” to “Juanita, God, and Alex,” symbolizing their shared faith and commitment.
